This is the best loose tea brewer I have ever had. Incredible control and beautiful to look at. This is much better than a tea ball because it allows the tea to fully expand and yet contains it in a way that is very easy to clean. Much better than the long cylinder filters. The glass chamber allows you to enjoy watching the expansion and color change. Being able to release a few drops or small stream at a time is great for sampling how long to brew a tea you haven’t had before. The other loose tea brewing pots I’ve had don’t have that control. It’s all or nothing.

I really like how this is made from glass and uses simple magnets to control the strainer from the little glass to the big one. It's Glass so Be careful and always make sure you leave the lid on when you pour it.

The mechanism really is pretty magical. The magnet is pretty far away from the stopper but it still manages to work pretty well. I've found that you need to reset the mechanism before using it. Sometimes the stopper can get jostled around a bit and doesn't seat right. Basically move the magnet up and down before using it.

Not much to complain about. As far as I can tell everything that touches water is either glass, metal, or silicone. Tea is what you'd expect. You put good tea leaves and water in you're going to get good tea out.

I ordered this for myself, and the small size is perfect for me and a guest. This set includes a twenty-seven-ounce pot, an infuser strainer with magnetic gravity release, and a cover/lid. It is small, measuring 6.3" H and 5.7" W. The borosilicate glass is durable and heat-resistant. This is an excellent set; the wood handles are durable and look great.
